 The First Thirteen Days

I owned Quark for thirteen fun-filled days before the reality of life in the real world came crashing down in my world.  Quark is still tons of fun, but I will always cherish those first few days and miles together.  During this time, Quark made one short road trip to Oklahoma and here are some photos.

Since I'm a railway civil engineer and railway enthusiast (not a train-geek or foamer though), it is only natural that Quark likes trains too!  About all these two machines have in common is a turbocharger!  Hmm.. I wonder what a Santa Fe Warbonnet VW would look like?  On second thought... no.

Quark at the gates of Southfork Ranch, made famous by the television show "Dallas".  This view really shows the 17-inch rims and low-profile tires.  It is possible to put 18-inch rims on a bug, but I don't think they would like the speed bumps and security gate track in my apartment complex parking lot.

I used visiting Oklahoma for the first time as my excuse for taking Quark out on her first road trip.  So far, I have been in 31 states and six Canadian provinces.  Hopefully the future adventures of Quark and I will add to this total.
