PHOTOESSAY

Works for me!

My most recent retro photo after I finished the fog lamp covers.  Union 76 Racing Gas logos, BRM wheels, 8-ball shifter and a big yellow flower in the bud vase.  Now everybody can see what I've always known: Quark is one of a kind!

The retro BRM Speedwell 1960s drag racing wheels were only fifteen minutes old when I snapped these photos of Quark.  I really liked the factory seven spoke alloys, but these retro rims really suit her personality.

Classic 3/4 angle with the office building where I work in the background.

What would a Cal Look New Beetle be without a 1963 California license plate with 1964 and 1965 validation stickers?

Technically a Cal Look New Beetle should be lowered in the front.  I can't do that to Quark due to speed bump clearance issues (there are a lot of them where I live).  Just for fun I gave her that "nose down" stance and parked her on the parking garage ramp!  Check out that 1962 Texas front plate. Groovy!

The retro rear shot with the Cali plate.  Hmmm...  I think that Quark could really use a stinger...

Quark goes nose down!

Round and Retro For A Reason!  Note the side view of the 76 fog lights.

Be sure to check out the "California Meets Wolfsburg" page for pictures of Quark's interior and close-ups of the retro mods!
